Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Elvis Amaya is a dynamic drummer and percussionist whose musical journey began at an early age. With formal training in both classical and contemporary styles, he honed his craft through intensive studies at the "Jose Luis Paz" Conservatory of Music and later at the prestigious "Simon Bolivar" Conservatory in Caracas, under the guidance of legendary drummer Andrés Briceño.
Throughout his career, Elvis has performed with a wide range of ensembles-from youth orchestras and percussion groups to touring bands-bringing a unique blend of precision and passion to every stage. His versatility has led him to collaborate with a variety of national and international artists, including Montesanto, Averly Morillo, and Barak, among others. His playing is deeply rooted in Latin rhythms, yet fluid across genres, making him a sought-after performer and session artist.
Elvis is driven by a belief in music's power to connect and inspire. Whether in the studio or on stage, he brings a contagious energy and deep musicality that resonates with audiences and fellow musicians alike. A dedicated artist, he continues to evolve his sound while remaining true to his roots.
